Sports and tourism are the two things that Stefan has built a career from. He spent over 13 years with professional sports teams across Canada where he oversaw all marketing facets including brand strategy, advertising, creative, digital, event and game day production, media relations, merchandising – essentially anything the brand touches. Through his time, he also served on Championship Festival committees that married big sport championships with tourism bodies to help create economic impacts of over $100 million for the host city’s hospitality industry.

After a 13 year career working as a marketing executive for professional sports teams, Stefan branched out to create Skale Marketing focusing on digital marketing, content & brand strategy, mainly within sporting events, and the tourism industry  This entailed working on projects for the Vancouver Hotel Destination Association and their digital platform of beVancouver as well as launching similar digital travel drivers in Calgary and Edmonton. Other work includes the 2016 Americas Masters Games, Hockey Night In Canada’s PlayOn Street Hockey Festival, Prairie Toyota Dealers Association, to name a few.

His true passion continues to be travelling and exploring new destinations throughout the year with his family.
